4月19日付「ユーリの部屋」（http://d.hatena.ne.jp/itunalily/20130419）のガザ紛争後のイスラエル国防軍の活動です。
イスラエルが自衛行為をすると騒ぎ立てる日本および西側主流派メディアですが、その後を伝えることはしていません。また、小規模ではあっても、今も毎日のように狙い撃ちされているイスラエルです。これほどまでに数ヶ月も継続して援助物資を敵側のガザに送り込んでいるイスラエルの負担もさることながら、どちらが真に「人道的」か、勝敗は客観的についていると思います。
では、なぜ憎悪や敵意を募らせて他者の援助で暮らしている側に、同情のまなざしを注ぐニュースが前面に出ているのでしょうか？毅然とした態度が望まれます。

最後に。おととい、本が届きました。アンヌ＝マリー・デルカンブル先生（http://d.hatena.ne.jp/itunalily/20130620）（http://d.hatena.ne.jp/itunalily/20130625）（http://d.hatena.ne.jp/itunalily/20130626）の『イスラームの内部』です。深刻で重い内容なのに、デザインがフランスらしく、品よくかわいらしい印象です。小さい本ですが、なかなか充実しています。これを「西洋のイスラーム偏見だ」と切り捨てるのではなく、なぜそのような見解表出に至ったのかの背景を理解し、では我々はどうすべきなのかよく考えるのが妥当だと思います。
