これは何を意味するか。
簡単に言ってしまえば、これが反ユダヤ主義なのである（http://d.hatena.ne.jp/itunalily/20161016）。
もう一点は、主張は似ていても、ダグラスさんの方が、もっと洗練された物の言い方をしているからだろう。「そこまで言わなくてもわかる」ので、一歩手前で引くか止める。そのテクニックが、強いインパクトを呼び起こすのだ。
…と書いていたら、何とパイプス先生もツィッターで、10年前のロンドン討論会について言及されていたのだった。

この西洋的粘りというのか、粘着気質というのか執着心は、とてもお茶漬け民族の私にはかなわない。
ダグラスさんも、最初の頃は大学講演でも見解を冷笑されたりして大変だったようだが、英国に対する誠実な愛国心とアメリカでの支援に勇気づけられてなのか、疲れも知らずに書き続け、語り続け、討論し続け、若くて豊かな才能を存分に発揮して、ここまでやって来られた。
私も頑張らなければ....。
